Scholarship Information

This scholarship is given by the Tahoe Arts Project (TAP) to help further the education of a South Tahoe High School student. TAP has hosted school assemblies of performing artists for 37 years and is honored to be able to offer mulitple scholarships to multiple, deserving STHS Senior who has participated in art programs within our community and schools.

Scholarship Requirements

High School Requirement:
South Tahoe High School
College Requirement:
Any full- time (12 units) higher education (i.e. 4-year university, community college, trade school, etc)
Career/Major Requirement:
Special consideration will be given to those planning to enroll in a full-time program in the fall with an emphasis on the arts: major, minor or classes in music, dance, theater, film, or related fields.
Other Requirements:
  • High school performing art (music, theatre, dance, fine arts) experience required...can be from high school or community programs;
  • Academic Merit and Future Goals are the main consideration;
  • Graduate from South Tahoe High School this academic year;
  • Community Service Preferred.

Additional Scholarship Information

Recipient will receive scholarship monies upon TAP's receipt of enrollment verification, and the scholarship must be claimed within 1 year after graduation at STHS.
