Scholarship Information
Soroptimist International of South Lake Tahoe offers a number of scholastic scholarships to graduating seniors of South Tahoe High School, Elevated Digital Academy and Mt. Tallac High. Criteria will be community service, academic achievement, and financial need. Extra curricular activities through the school such as participation in leadership, athletics, clubs, and specific programs and activities outside of school such as work, family involvement, and volunteer activities will also be considered. Scholarship values are a minimum of $1000.
Scholarship Requirements

- GPA Minimum:
- 3.00
- College Requirement:
- Must be planning to attend school full time at a university, college or technical school.
- Other Requirements:

1) Be graduating from South Tahoe High School, Mt Tallac High, George Whittell High School, or Lake Tahoe Community College.

Additional Scholarship Information
Our scholarship program aims to support young adults who are pursuing higher education and job training that receive limited to no financial support. Each scholarship is worth at least $1,000! We base our awards on the following criteria: Grades (30%), Special Circumstances (25%), School Activities (20%), Community Service (20%), and Essay (5%).
