Scholarship Information

This scholarship is available to graduating seniors from South Tahoe High School, Mt Tallac or Elevated Digital Academy who will be attending a community college or four-year college or university. Multiple scholarships are awarded each year. Since 2010, there have been 533 scholarship applications received, and the Kiwanis Club of Lake Tahoe has awarded 73% of those applications with awards totaling $615,000.

College Requirement:
attending a community college or 4-year college/university
Career/Major Requirement:
no
Other Requirements:
  • Evaluation Criteria includes Community Service, academics, and financial need.
  • Special consideration given to students who are active members of Key Club during high school. Key Club membership is not a requirement to apply for the scholarships.

  • Letter of recommendation, not required but encouraged
