Scholarship Information

The Rescue Volunteer Firefighter's Association offers a one-time renewable scholarship to a graduating senior who resides within the Rescue fire district and who has an outstanding academic record. The Association wishes to recognize the achievement of academic merit. The scholarship award is $500 for the first year, with a one-time renewal for an additional $500.

High School Requirement:
American River Charter (TK-12), Buckeye Union Mandarin Immersion Charter , Clarksville Charter (TK-12th), Cottonwood (TK-12th), Divide High School (9th-12th), El Dorado High School, Elevated Digital Learning Academy, Golden Sierra High School, Independence Continuation, John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills, Mountain View High, Mountainside Middle College High School, Mountainside Success Academy (8th -12th), Mt. Tallac High, Oak Ridge High School, Other - Private, Pacific Crest Academy , Ponderosa High School, Rite of Passage, South Tahoe High School, Union Mine High School

Applicant MUST RESIDE within the Rescue Fire Protection District and must be planning to attend an accredited college or trade school in the next academic year.
