Scholarship Information

This scholarship is in memory of Eric Prosch. Eric graduated from Independence High School and was continuing his education at Consumes River College when he died, tragically, of a drug overdose. The $1,500 scholarship recognizes students who have overcome challenges and demonstrated a strong desire to overcome adversity and succeed in life. It is the Prosch family's desire to help students who have decided that education, not drugs, is the answer to success in life.

Scholarship Requirements

High School Requirement:
El Dorado High School, Independence Continuation, Ponderosa High School
Other Requirements:

• Open for Independence High, Ponderosa High, or El Dorado High School Senior • No other restrictions but preference given to community college, technical or vocational/ trade school.
