Scholarship Information

Established in 1984, the Letitia Larson Scholarship is named for our founder and first president, Letitia Larson. The $1,500.00 scholarship is limited to a first year college student planning to attend a four-year college to prepare for entering the teaching profession. Other things being equal, extra consideration will be given to children or grandchildren of educators. The applicant must be of good moral character and have shown an interest, beyond the classroom, in school and community affairs.

Golden Sierra High School (7th -12th), Charter, El Dorado High School, Independence Continuation, Mountain View High, Oak Ridge High School, Ponderosa High School, Union Mine High School, Mt. Tallac High, South Tahoe High School, Transitional Learning Center, Other - Private, Pacific Crest Academy
College Requirement:

Open to students planning on pursuing a career in Education.

Additional Scholarship Information

The decision of the scholarship committee is final and will be revealed at the school's scholarship awards night.

Recipient will be asked to send a letter from the college Registrar showing full time enrollment, and then the award will be paid to the student recipient.
