Scholarship Information
Amador-El Dorado-Sacramento County Cattle Women will offer $6,000, and the Amador- El Dorado- Sacramento County Cattlemen will offer $4,000 in scholarship funds (to be apportioned by the scholarship committee) within our three counties. By offering these scholarships the Cattle Women & Catttlemen hope to be able to further the education of future leaders in the beef industry.
Scholarship Requirements
- High School Requirement:
- Golden Sierra High School (7th -12th), Charter, El Dorado High School, Independence Continuation, Mountain View High, Oak Ridge High School, Ponderosa High School, Union Mine High School, Mt. Tallac High, South Tahoe High School, Transitional Learning Center, Other - Private, John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills, Charter Community School Home Study Academy , Rite of Passage , Clarksville Charter (TK-12th), Buckeye Union Mandarin Immersion Charter , Cottonwood (TK-12th), American River Charter (TK-12), Charter Connections Academy (9th-12th), Charter University Prep (7th-12th), Charter College & Career Prep (7th -12th), Pacific Crest Academy , Divide High School (9th-12th), Elevated Digital Academy , Independent Learning Academy 9-12
- GPA Minimum:
- 2.50
- Career/Major Requirement:
- Career in the Beef Industry, Ag Education, etc.
- Other Requirements:

- The student must be a senior or graduate of an Amador, El Dorado, or Sacramento county high school.
- The applicant may be required to attend a personal interview.

The scholarship award will be disbursed upon verification of enrollment in a minimum of 12 units at any accredited community college or four-year college or university.
