The Active 20/30 Club of Placerville is a community service minded organization that has been active in El Dorado County since 1929. The club is concerned with the enrichment of community activities for people 20-39 years old. An annual scholarship is offered to graduating senior students who have demonstrated a history of involvement in the community through dedicated service. Scholarship award can be used for vocational/technical, business schools, or community college studies.
Scholarship Requirements
- High School Requirement:
- Golden Sierra High School, El Dorado High School, Independence Continuation, Mountain View High, Oak Ridge High School, Ponderosa High School, Union Mine High School, Mt. Tallac High, South Tahoe High School, Pacific Crest Academy
- GPA Minimum:
- 2.80
- Other Requirements:

- Must have demonstrated a history of involvement in the community through dedicated service
- Community service involvement for a minimum of 1 year is required. Must show documentation. Heavy emphasis is placed on community service.
