Scholarship Information
The Steven M. Jones Scholarship recognizes a student that exhibits the character and passion that defined Steven. He believed that kindness was of utmost importance to fostering strong relationships and that empathy for our peers builds resilient communities. He was passionate for the arts and music, using both as a means to connect to his students and colleagues. Each year 2 graduates will be chosen to receive this $500 scholarship.
Scholarship Requirements
- High School Requirement:
- Elevated Digital Learning Academy, Mt. Tallac High, South Tahoe High School
- GPA Minimum:
- 3.00
- Other Requirements:
- Involvement in Music Program and/or ALLY Club for a minimum of 3 years (or equivalent: ie pursuing music on their own or working as an advocate for LGBTQ outside of ALLY)
- Considerations Not Applicable:
- Ethnicity, Gender, Financial Need, College Choice, Intended Career/Major
