Scholarship Information

The Flaherty Impact Scholarship is a family foundation achievement scholarship that wants to recognize the accomplishments of high school seniors and how they make an IMPACT on their high school and community as a whole. The Flaherty Impact Scholarship is a scholarship for high-achieving, creative problem-solving students who work diligently to better their community and look beyond themselves. This Scholarship is open for all dedicated El Dorado Union High School seniors who are pursuing education past high school because of their love of learning and dedication to making the world a better place. Two recipients will be chosen to receive a $4,000 scholarship ($1,000 each year for up to 4 years.)

High School Requirement:
El Dorado High School, Oak Ridge High School, Ponderosa High School, Union Mine High School
GPA Minimum:
3.50
College Requirement:
4-year university/college
Career/Major Requirement:

Other Requirements:

*Special Consideration will be given to applicants who have community service hours.

*Special Consideration will also be given to students with work experience, especially those who have shown entrepreneurship.

*Special Consideration will be given to high school athletes of 2 years or more.
