Scholarship Information

California Freemasons have been leaders in supporting schools throughout the state for over 170 years and Placerville Lodge #26 has played an important role in providing for our students and those in need since 1853.

Scholarships are being offered to graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated a history of involvement in the community through dedicated service. Scholarship awards can be used for vocational, technical, and business schools, and two- or four-year colleges.

Students who have an affiliation with the Masons (Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather, Demolay, Eastern Star, or Rainbow girls) will be given preference but all students who have been involved in community service are encouraged to apply.

Scholarship Requirements

High School Requirement:
Golden Sierra High School (7th -12th), El Dorado High School, Independence Continuation, Oak Ridge High School, Ponderosa High School, Union Mine High School
GPA Minimum:
2.50
Other Requirements:
  • Must have demonstrated a history of involvement in the community through dedicated service. Heavy emphasis is placed on community service.
  • Preference is given to students affiliated with the Masons. This could be your father, brother, uncle, grandfather, Demolay, Eastern Star, or Rainbow girls, but is not required.
