Scholarship Information

This $500 scholarship was established in memory of John Mirande, a longtime high school teacher and coach. He was very supportive of El Dorado High School, active in restarting the Booster Club, and supported many community projects, and he did all of these things quietly and effectively.

Scholarship Requirements

High School Requirement:
El Dorado High School, Oak Ridge High School, Ponderosa High School, Union Mine High School
GPA Minimum:
3.00
Other Requirements:

• Applicant must have participated in four years of high school sports, not necessarily the same sport.
