Scholarship Information

The Mary T. Muse Scholarship is made possible by the Fisher and Muse-Fisher families, long time residents of El Dorado County and in memory of Mary T. Muse. The Muse scholarship is for $2,500. Mary Muse exemplified hard work, commitment to education and public service and devotion to family. For nearly 50 years, Mary actively contributed her time and talents to the development to El Dorado County- including, in particular, its schools, serving 4 years on the Buckeye District School Board and 16 years on the El Dorado Union High School District Board. Throughout those years, she also served as a Family Law Commissioner at the county courthouse, a family law attorney for countless community members, a real estate developer, an active participant in many local organizations and charities, and a mother to SEVEN children and a grandmother to 13 grandchildren.

High School Requirement:
El Dorado High School, Independence Continuation, Mountain View High, Oak Ridge High School, Pacific Crest Academy , Ponderosa High School, Union Mine High School
GPA Minimum:
3.50
Financial Needs Requirement:
Yes
College Requirement:
Must attend a UC campus this coming Fall with preference being given to UC Davis, UC Berkeley and UCSD
