Scholarship Information

This memorial scholarship was established by the Camino Community Action Committee to honor Camino student Julianna Abballo. The scholarship is in memory of Julianna from Camino. In her 14 short years, Julianna made a lasting impact on family and friends. She was a caring person and enjoyed helping others. Julianna enjoyed hanging out with her friends, community service and cross country to name a few.

Julianna loved Bodega Bay, Main Street - Placerville, the mall, and skateboarding. She was always smiling and laughing which rubbed off on those around her. Julianna was an older sibling that helped her parents with her younger brothers and sisters. Julianna excelled at math and writing poems.

The purpose of this scholarship is to support students who graduated from Camino Elementary School and embodies her kind and caring personality, by providing an opportunity for an under-privileged student to further their post HS education.

To honor Julianna, this two year ($500 each year) scholarship will be awarded to a successful Camino School graduate attending El Dorado or Union Mine High School aspiring to attend college.
