Scholarship Information
Lift Literature's mission is to ignite the love of reading, literacy, and community connection in South Lake Tahoe. We believe that reading good books not only changes lives, but it saves lives. Our mission is to lift teachers, students and the community up during this time of extraordinary hardship and to help bridge learning gaps through literacy support in the LTUSD school district and beyond. Lift Literature will be awarding one $1,000 scholarship based on the criteria and requirements noted below.
Scholarship Requirements
- High School Requirement:
- Independence Continuation
- College Requirement:
- 2 or 4 year college or trade school immediately after high school graduation
- Other Requirements:
- STHS Seniors only
- Considerations Not Applicable:
- GPA, Ethnicity, Gender, Financial Need, Intended Career/Major
