Scholarship Information

The McCaffrey Education Scholarship is made available by people who understand the Value of education. The Pender Education Trust created the McCaffrey Education Scholarship in honor of Catherine Theresa McCaffrey Pender.   This scholarship is a $2,000, and students up to the age of 22 can apply This application is for high school seniors. 

If you are a college student, please complete the McCaffrey college student application.

Scholarship Requirements

High School Requirement:
American River Charter (TK-12), Buckeye Union Mandarin Immersion Charter , Clarksville Charter (TK-12th), Cottonwood (TK-12th), Divide High School (9th-12th), El Dorado High School, Elevated Digital Learning Academy, Golden Sierra High School, Independence Continuation, John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills, Mountain View High, Mountainside Middle College High School, Mountainside Success Academy (8th -12th), Mt. Tallac High, Oak Ridge High School, Other - Private, Pacific Crest Academy , Ponderosa High School, Rite of Passage, South Tahoe High School, Union Mine High School
GPA Minimum:
2.00
Other Requirements:

Applicant must be a high school graduate (or graduating at end of school year), be 22 years of age or younger, and use the funds for university, college, trade or technical school costs.
