The Teresa Golden (Democratic Club) Scholarship is for students who are extending their education past high school who have been involved in student government/leadership, community service and environmental and/or civil rights activism over the last 4 years.

Scholarship Requirements

High School Requirement:
Mt. Tallac High, South Tahoe High School, Transitional Learning Center, Elevated Digital Academy , Independent Learning Academy 9-12
Other Requirements:

    GPA, Ethnicity, Gender, Financial Need, College Choice, Intended Career/Major

    • Letter of Recommendation (letters of recommendation must be signed by the recommender before upload) - qty 2 , Two letters of recommendation from non-related adults in this community that can substantiate the student's activism in government, social or environmental causes in our community.
    • Unofficial Transcript - qty 1
    • Cover Page - qty 1 , write a personal statement including your goals for the future and an overview of your experiences related to community service, student government, environmental or social actions. Also include how you plan to give back to your community.
