Scholarship Information

This memorial scholarship was established by Brian Trevisan Maxey's parents to honor their beloved son. Brian's passions were in the arts, both visual and performance. This scholarship honors Brian by providing an opportunity for another hard-working, college-bound student seeking an education in a visual and/or performing art major.

Scholarship Requirements

High School Requirement:
Golden Sierra High School, Charter, El Dorado High School, Independence Continuation, Mountain View High, Oak Ridge High School, Ponderosa High School, Union Mine High School, Mt. Tallac High, South Tahoe High School, Other - Private, John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills, Charter Community School Home Study Academy , Rite of Passage, Clarksville Charter (TK-12th), Buckeye Union Mandarin Immersion Charter , Cottonwood (TK-12th), American River Charter (TK-12), Charter Connections Academy (9th-12th), Charter University Prep (7th-12th), Charter College & Career Prep (7th -12th), Pacific Crest Academy , Divide High School (9th-12th), Elevated Digital Academy
GPA Minimum:
3.00
College Requirement:
any post-secondary education program majoring in Visual and Performing Arts, at any university, college, community college or conservatory/art academy.
Career/Major Requirement:
Visual or Performing Arts Major or Minor
Other Requirements:

    • Must currently be a Senior at any of the El Dorado County high schools...this includes but is not limited to Mt. Tallac, South Tahoe High, Vista High, Golden Sierra High, Oak Ridge High, Ponderosa High, Union Mine High, and El Dorado High Schools.

    • College Requirement: any post-secondary education program majoring in Visual and Performing Arts, at any university, college, community college or conservatory/art academy.

    ***Must have taken at least 2 years of a VAPA class in high school
