Scholarship Information

This scholarship was established by Kyle Campbell's parents to honor their beloved son. Kyle's passions were aviation and engineering. Kyle played Little League most of his life and grew up to be a dedicated CA Angels fan. In addition, he loved just about anything that went fast such as hotrods, motorcycles, and especially jets. He passed away after college, but had he lived, he was destined to become a military aviator defending his country from the skies overhead, and maybe one day flying the United States president in Marine One. If Kyle wasn't in school, working, or at a ball game you could find him at the beach. The sun, the waves and surfing called to him during his spare time.

Scholarship Requirements

High School Requirement:
American River Charter (TK-12), Buckeye Union Mandarin Immersion Charter , Clarksville Charter (TK-12th), Cottonwood (TK-12th), Divide High School (9th-12th), El Dorado High School, Elevated Digital Learning Academy, Golden Sierra High School, Independence Continuation, John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills, Mountain View High, Mountainside Middle College High School, Mountainside Success Academy (8th -12th), Mt. Tallac High, Oak Ridge High School, Other - Private, Pacific Crest Academy , Ponderosa High School, Rite of Passage, South Tahoe High School, Union Mine High School
GPA Minimum:
3.00
College Requirement:
4-year college/university or trade school: If a student attends a community college first, this scholarship will be applied to the student's tuition once they transfer to a 4-year university.
Career/Major Requirement:
Special Consideration given to students majoring in engineering and/or aviation.
