The Sierra-Cascade Logging Conference is an organization made up of individuals and businesses of the logging, timber, trucking, construction, energy, insurance, and banking industries. The Logging Conference supports educational programs such as The Forestry Institute for Teachers, the California Forestry Challenge, Shasta College Natural Resources and Heavy Equipment Logging Operations (HELO), High School FFA and College Logging Sports Programs, as well as Southern California Edison Education Days.
The Sierra-Cascade Logging Conference hosts an annual Education Day, College Logging Sports Exhibition, Wild Things Wildlife Show, and High School FFA Forestry Competition at the Shasta District
Fairgrounds for local students in February and The Cascade In-Woods Harvest Demonstration, and Sierra WoodEd Pathways events in May, as well as a variety of Logger's Jamboree events.
